Good app. Couple things that can be improved are - I use this to play games in my linux machine via lutris. When in game, it doesn't register single taps as clicks. I have to double tap which registers as a single click. - Having a ”change monitor" button on the sidebar would improve usability a lot. It is tedious to do it from settings. - When I disconnect abruptly, connection still persists on the server and prevents me from reconnecting. I can't connect without restarting the server.

Edit: what game are you using?
Hi, thanks for your feedback and your 4-stars :) Regarding the 3 issues you mention: 1) we are investigating the double-tap 2) this is a bug you can track it here: https://www.nomachine.com/TR03Q09219, 3) can you tell us what version on the server side you have?

Doesn't start in landscape mode anymore on S8+ (tablet version was working fine) and no option to force orientation. Would be nice to also have a zoom sensitivity slider since it seems way too sensitive. App forgot all of my saved connections and now no longer remembers settings on connections like the display settings. The hints at the start of a connection keep coming back after closing the app.

Hi Jack O, sorry to hear you've got problems with landscape mode, we haven't encountered problems with orientation. We'll work on the sensitivity, thanks for taking the time to let us know!

The app would be pretty good if it had support for phones with an enlongated aspect ratio (19.5:9 on my LG G7). It cuts off menus and buttons with a black bar for some reason, so clearly aspect ratio was not kept in mind when they wrote this app. Also, starting a connection from the list of computers is quite awkward. A normal tap or double tap does not work, but something does. And there needs to be a bit more detailed options for quality as it seems to be selecting VP8 Opus 22khz no matter what I do on the server side. Options like h264 aac, or even x264 presets should be selectable.

Thanks for the reports, we'll investigate for that particular device! Regarding H.264 support on Android, it's already planned :-) https://www.nomachine.com/FR12M02991
